Number of Tickets, Costs, and Selection Criteria

The Dutch organizers awarded the U.S. Delegation 500 march slots for 2026, the same as 2025. The intent of the U.S. Delegation is to accommodate as many marchers as possible (and we always request more tickets than we get). If, as in 2025, there are more interested registrants than tickets available, the U.S. Delegation will have to make the hard decision on which marchers can and can not be accommodated.

Individual Marchers with Previous Participation

As is the case with all participating countries, marchers who have completed a previous march (Individual or Teams) will be given the highest registration priority. Previous marchers should consider their registration automatically contingent upon final payment. To register, you must complete the Marcher Name Registration Form.

First-time individual marchers will be accommodated subject to availability. The plan is to field up to 100 individual marchers in 2026, including previous marchers.

Teams

Teams must have the Team Leader register the Team using the Registration Page. The leader will list the requested number of slots that they need for their team. This should be an honest assessment of the number of people they think will be at the event in July.

The delegation will then send out the team registration form with a required completion date to the team leader.

Team Notes:

Approximately 22-29 teams will be registered with the U.S. Delegation. Returning teams will be given registration priority.

Teams are placed into two simple groupings for selection and processing.

The team has previously participated in the march.
The team has not previously participated.

After the U.S. Delegation selects a team, the team leader will receive a team registration form.

After receiving the form back, the delegation will send each individual a ticket payment request with instructions.

General Notes

Marchers, support staff and medics are not considered to have completed registration until final payment has been received. If you are reading this page then you may already have started the process. Payments will be processed early spring 2026.

The U.S. Delegation is bound by the rules and regulations of the 4Daagse board and administration. As a result, the U.S. Delegation wishes to strongly affirm that not meeting registration and payment deadlines may result in non-completion of the registration process. Deadlines apply to all; those marching, volunteer support staff, administrative support staff and medical support staff.

The U.S. Delegation will post Deadlines as the actual dates become available.

2026 Expectations

The U.S. Delegation estimates an approximate combined cost of €484.08 per person (pp) for all march-related costs. We do not consider transport and transit costs. Please see the cost breakdown below for itemized specifics.

4Daagse Foundation
The published Dutch costs for 2026 total €454.50 pp. Fortunately, the march fee remains at €120. The Camp fee, which includes billeting and food, increased €10 to €330. USDNM will only purchase digital certificates, now €4.50. These are less expensive and complicated than the printouts 4Daagse would hand out with medals at Charlemagne. Printed certificates do not have unique stamps or signatures. Digital versions are individualized and certify personal march completion for official records. Color printing on card stock renders the same product. The 4Daagse Foundation will email certificates to marchers directly, so ensure your email address is correct.

USNDM

Though we are a non-profit volunteers, we do need to buy services to run USDNM. The administration and rest area support fees that total €10 cover (most of) these.

Extra Costs

Patches, shirts, and other items will be available at the camp. These sales also support USDNM operational costs.

Payment Options:
Like previous years, the U.S. delegation plans to process payments in 2026 using the Eventbrite website. We will prompt you for payment following your selection into the 2026 U.S. Delegation.
